Services and repairs the Districts 4160 volt switch gear, and 480 volt motor control center.Maintains repairs, installs and calibrates the Districts instrumentation, electrical, and electronic equipment.Trouble-shoots and corrects faults in SCADA, PLC, and computer systems used for pipeline, Pump Station, and Terminal process and control.Provides operation support at all District facilities.Maintains and repairs all District cathodic equipment and maintains protection levels on the pipeline and Terminal.Locates, and marks the pipeline for third parties and over sees their activities.Maintains records and electronic data base as it relates to job duties.Provides HAZWOPER support and is involved in emergency response activities.Is responsible to participate in a rotating call out system, and must be available as requested to provide support.Provides oversight for contractor activity.

Position Requirements

Must become OQ qualified for tasks assigned within one year.Intermediate computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, operating systems, company software.Basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, division, fractions, decimals).Proficient with electronic instruments.Knowledge and experience, reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.Knowledge and experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.Job planning and prioritizing.Good verbal and communication skills.Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keeps required job schedules.Focus attention on details and follow work rules.Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.Must have a good safety record.Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions.Travel will be required. Overtime may be required and is anticipated.Physical requirements include but may not be limited to walking up and down stairs/ladders, negotiate uneven surfaces and carry up to 50 pounds.Maintain a regular dependable attendance and high level of performance.Required to carry a cell phone to respond to after hour "call outs" due to equipment and/or operational problems.Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen upon offer.Other duties as assigned.

Provide routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, tires, brakes, any trailer repairs, including electrical diagnosis and repairs, including ABS system. 2. Conducts preventative maintenance in order to maintain D.O.T. regulations and safety. Replace air chambers, wheel bearings, wheel seals, dollies, doors, door seals, patches roofs and needed repairs to trailer body, aligns axles as needed; and minor damage repair including some welding on aluminum and steel. 3. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Works in a safe and efficient manner. Follows all company safety policies. 4. Maintains organization of shop; follows proper shop procedures, assists other shop staff members with maintenance as needed; and performs various ground and property maintenance as needed. 5. Participates in departmental training involving updated repair procedures, safety awareness and equipment changes. 6. Perform other duties as assigned. Necessary Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; One year of experience in the area of fleet maintenance or related field preferred; ability to read and write work orders, basic computer skills and possession of Roll Tool Chest and hand tools. Physical Qualifications: * Abilty to lift 70 lbs. and apply 20 lbs. of force to pull, push or lift constantly. * Exposures include: various noise levels, vibration of the extremities or whole body, and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, and gases. * Ability to perform crouching, stretching, high reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, and squatting while performing job duties. * Ability to stand, walk and meet the above requirements on various surface areas and conditions.
