Job Description:

OLLI Classroom AV and Zoom Assistant (BCC Student Worker)

OLLI at BCC is seeking AV support for OLLI hybrid classes on campus at BCC. We will train on specific equipment in the classroom. OLLI staff will be onsite at the beginning of class to troubleshoot any issues, and then the assistant will monitor the equipment through the lecture.

TASKS:

Run AV Equipment in H-402 Classroom:

• Changing batteries in microphones as needed

• Troubleshooting tech in room as needed

Zoom Assistance:

• Help instructor with Q&A in Zoom chat

• Mute/Manage Zoom participants

• Help with screen share as necessary

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Comfortable working with others who are not tech proficient.

• Zoom proficient - comfortable using Zoom

• Be willing to learn AV equipment in classroom

• Current BCC Student

Preferred:

• Experience hosting Zoom meetings

• Experience on BCC campus

Additional Information:

Pay rate: $15.00 per hour, part-time, non-benefited

Area of Assignment: OLLI
