Job Description Job Description Job Description : PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST/PURCHASER Department: Service Reports to: Service Manager Job Purpose / Objective The Procurement Specialist/Purchaser is responsible for: - Forecasting demand

• Procuring raw materials, components, tooling, and equipment at the lowest possible costs

• Tracking purchase orders to ensure timely shipment and accurate receiving

• Maintaining strong relationships with international vendors

• Assisting in the development of departmental strategies Key Accountabilities

• Purchase raw materials, tooling, components for custom and standard inventory, office supplies, and equipment needed for day-to-day operations.

• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors , including communication, negotiation, and issue resolution.

• Generate purchase orders accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.

• Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.

• Maintain accurate records of purchasing transactions, contracts, and correspondence with suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, regulations, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate procurement risks.

• Assist in sourcing new suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, and qualifying new vendors.

• Perform other related duties as assigned. Quality Health Safety & Environment (QHSE)

• Adhere to all relevant QHSSE procedures, instructions, and controls to provide a safe, secure, and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public, and employees. Qualifications, Experience & Competencies

• Education / Qualifications : High School Diploma required

• Relevant Experience : Prior purchasing experience in a raw material or component environment is an asset

• Skills & Competencies : - High level of attention to detail & excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Strong written and oral communication skills
