With our Ohana Floors, we took the most sought after spaces with the best views and designed them with an innovative approach for our entire Ohana (family in Hawaiian) to enjoy. The Ohana Floor is an open space with sweeping views, exceptional audio visual equipment, an exhibition kitchen with a chefs table, lush green garden features and so much more.

Our Ohana Floor Barista Bar features state of the art espresso equipment, a wide selection of whole leaf garden-direct teas, and a creative menu of seasonal beverages including crafted shrubs and sodas. Our goal is to provide a unique and welcoming experience to all employees and guests.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented, knowledgeable barista to lead our barista team and manage the day to day operations of our coffee bar.

The Ohana Floor Barista team is responsible for providing world-class service and elevated hospitality to all employees and guests who visit. Together with the Real Estate and Workplace Services Culinary Team, they provide authentic, fun and welcoming experiences that embody Salesforce's one-of-a-kind culture. They execute a menu of specialty coffee beverages, teas, and artisan refreshments while maintaining a clean, organized work space that adheres to all safety and food handling requirements. The Barista Supervisor works alongside the barista team and fosters a culture of integrity and accountability. The Barista Supervisor reports to the Barista Operations Coordinator.

  • Consistency is essential to our program and you will be expected to oversee execution of a beverage menu including traditional coffee beverages, artisan loose-leaf teas, and crafted refreshments.

  • Excellent communication is essential; you will liaise with Design, Workplace Services, Projects, Events, Employee Success, executive assistants, and others as well as additional business partners.

  • As part of a larger culinary team, you work with the Chef de Cuisine and front of house staff to ensure a unified team.

  • You facilitate organization and will be responsible for regular inventory of paper supplies, dry goods, and prepared ingredients.

  • Our safety and security is paramount; you maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and carrying out sanitation standards and procedures, aligning with health and legal regulations, and maintaining security protocols.

  • You ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system by all staff and verify all products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance.

  • You set up and manage external relationships including suppliers, staffing agencies, technicians, etc.

  • You manage your time efficiently, taking on side projects while allowing the team space to do the same.

  • You work within the established infrastructure and help to build and improve systems.

  • You unlock the creativity and potential of the team around you.

  • You hold yourself and team accountable to expectations.

  • Qualifications*

  • You have a minimum of 5 years Specialty Coffee barista experience.

  • You have a minimum of 2 years management experience overseeing a team of 3 or more.

  • You have worked special events in your work experience.

  • You have culinary, hospitality, or high-end retail experience.

  • ANSI accredited food safety certification or equivalent.

  • Completion of an internal or external barista training program strongly preferred.

  • SCA certification or training experience is preferred.
