Our Contracts team is responsible for delivering to our Partners a simplified but thorough review process for complex engagement contracts. You'll be the single point of contact and resource centre designed to support and guide Partners through the complicated engagement contracting process with a keen focus on identifying, evaluating, and reducing potential risks.

6 year(s) with a minimum of 5 years experience related to managing projects of increasing complexity.

The key areas of focus include, the administration and maintenance of commercial and government contracts and Requests for Information/Proposal and all the requirements associated with those documents. This position will also assist sales/account management in forming and maintaining key relationships within the contracted entities and participate in conference calls/meetings as requested. The Manager Contracting and Payer Relations will work with other departments to support the business needs of PANTHERx™ Rare Pharmacy and reports to the Director of Contracts. Responsibilities * Assist sales team in reviewing and completing RFP/RFIs * Assist in preparation of documents for presenting to Leadership committee for approval * Assist sales in contract negotiations and review all contracting documents for completeness and accuracy under the direction of the Director of Contracting * Participate in internal and client contract strategy and negotiation calls/meetings; capture meeting notes and proposed contract changes in MS Word track change mode; maintain separate internal and client versions as needed * Utilize contract database to load, monitor and maintain contracts according to the terms and conditions set forth in the contract documents * Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to necessary internal and external parties to provide contract visibility and awareness; provide interpretation when necessary to support successful implementation * Review, distribute, and track a wide range of contractual documents and agreements * Maintain contractual records and documentation such as: Receipt and control of all contract correspondence, amendments, status reports, pricing updates and other documents * Assist Sales in building and maintaining positive relationships and assist in the account planning process and management activities related to contracts for assigned customer segments and accounts * Work closely with project leads to monitor compliance with client contractual requirements (milestones, performance guarantees, required reporting, invoicing, reconciliation etc.) * Collaborates cross functionally with Finance, Operations, Billing, Analytics, to develop, analyze, and implement strategic account plans to maximize account profitability for assigned customer segments and accounts * Assists in strategy and communication for new to market medications to contracts team and contracted entities under the direction of Director of Contracts * Prepares and maintains necessary paperwork/applications to ensure sites, and departments are set up to comply with PANTHERx™ Specialty Pharmacy business standards * Provide regular updates to Leadership on status, work-in-progress, including escalated issues * Anticipates Director of Contracting and department needs by gathering records, reports, correspondence, etc. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications * Must have at least one year of relevant contracting experience with a Specialty Pharmacy, PBM, or Managed Care organization * High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy * Work with a spirit of enthusiasm, teamwork, cooperation, a sense of urgency * Maintain a high degree of confidentiality over all matters in the course of business operations including patient and employee information * Proficiency with computer functions/programs including billing/data software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) * Ability to work collaboratively and effectively while handling multiple projects on various timelines in a fast-paced environment * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously * Results driven: Self-motivated and works with a sense of urgency * Skilled communicator to a variety of audiences, including customers, clinical personnel and Leadership) * Familiar with Medicaid programs, Medicare Part D & CMS, Health Plans, PBMs, Payers and the Specialty Pharmacy business platform * Licensure Required: N/A Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. * Three to five years of relevant experience in a Managed Care, PBM, Specialty Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry, Medicaid organizations and processors.
