Offset Press Operator

Job Description Job Description Spectrum Marketing is seeking a full time 2nd shift Web Press Operator. This position is responsible for set up and operation of our Web Press equipment.

We value quality, productivity and safety. We will consider training the right individual. Here’s what the successful candidate will be doing:

All aspects of set up for, and operation of, our Didde Web Press printing equipment, including: • Review of job instructions and preparation of job materials, • Selection and preparation of paper stocks • Maintaining necessary ink and chemical levels, • Mounting of plates on cylinders, • Making necessary adjustments for optimal run rate, and • Providing maintenance of press and work space and recognizing necessary repairs for the press. Additional Duties: • Head Pressman for Second Shift, • Supervision of the press crew. Skills and Experience Requirements: • We strongly prefer Web Press experience, • Ability to read, write and understand the English language, • Ability to perform basic math functions, • Ability to safely use hand trucks, • UV printing experience a plus.
