Job Description:
The Cain Department of Chemical Engineering seeks an Office Support Coordinator. This role is primarily responsible for administrative support for clerical support functions, establishes work priorities, and maintains files and databases.
Trains student workers who work in the main office. Ensures all incoming communications are disseminated to the proper person. Operates proficiently in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Workday, and data management.
50% Administrative Support of the Cain Department of Chemical Engineering. Assists other staff members with duties on an as needed basis.
Duties would include purchasing, reimbursement requests, data collection, presentation material, as well as other administrative duties. Coordinates travel, for faculty, staff, graduate students, undergraduate students, and all departmental guests. Travel includes airfare, hotels, car rentals, and all other travel related needs.
20% Oversees clerical support functions, establishes work priorities, and maintains files and databases.
Trains student workers who work in the main office.
Serves as the Office Coordinator to ensure all incoming communications are disseminated to the proper person. Operates proficiently in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Workday, and data management.
20% Responsible for maintaining and updating departmental websites, social media accounts, and annual newsletter. Responsible for assembling the annual newsletter, including photographs, drafting articles, and its dissemination.
10% Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
