Position Purpose

Office Supervisors are responsible for overseeing daily operations of a specific retail tax location. This position manages store employees and is responsible to meet business objectives as set out by the corporate office.

Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
1.Recruit, train and management staff
2.Implement the authorized Marketing plan
3.Ensure client receives exceptional customer service
4.Generate and transmit daily operational reports
5.Prepare taxes as needed

Position Qualifications
1.Solid organizational and time management skills
2.Ability to delegate and provide coaching
3.Ability to manage and motivate others in a fast paced business environment
4.Exceptional communication skills
5.Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and within a team
6.Flexible to work nights and weekends as necessary
7.Previous tax preparation experience is preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Position requires working in an office atmosphere and supervising office employees (Tax Preparers, Costume Wavers, and Office Employees).

VIEW JOBS 2/20/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-20T00:00 Description of Work * THIS IS A REPOST; PREVIOUS APPLICANTS DO NOT NEED TO REAPPLY* This position will be reported to the location of Correction Enterprises Tabor City Sewing Facility within the Tabor Correctional Institution in Tabor City, NC (Columbus County). This position must train inmates in the safe, proper and most efficient operation of equipment and practices utilized in a sewing manufacturing operation while ensuring quantity and quality standards in accordance with applicable laws, policies and regulations. The employee will organize and direct work assignments of inmates, set up of equipment and processing of raw materials. The employee will prepare a variety of written reports involving subjects such as inventory levels, equipment specifications, inmate incidents, incentive wage payroll and production schedules. This position requires working in an environment which may involve exposure to noise, dust, fumes, dangerous machinery, chemicals, body fluids and falling objects. This may require use of personal protective equipment such as ear plugs/muffs, and safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, respirators, protective clothing, etc., and/or other personal protective equipment used in a sewing operation. The employee will conduct visual and audio surveillance of plant operations to ensure custody and security of inmates and facility. Review work in process and inspect finished products to ensure achievement of production, quality and safety standards. The employee must effectively communicate verbally and in writing with higher management, inmates and customers applicable information to complete assigned task. The employee must maintain a professional demeanor at all times while working with staff and inmates. The employee must operate, inspect and maintain equipment utilized in a sewing operation. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies Listed below are the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) associated with the position. These KSA's, along with the minimum education and experience listed, are required in order to be deemed "eligible" for the position therefore you must provide supporting information, within the body of your application, to demonstrated your possession of each KSA listed. Qualified applicants must possess, and application must clearly reflect work experience that demonstrates the following: * Must possess prior supervisory experience of unskilled labor. * Must demonstrate hands on training and supervision in a production based environment. * Must demonstrate sewing experience. * Must demonstrate experience with inventory. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and a minimum of two years of related industry/service experience; or an equivalent combination of training and directly related experience.
