Supervises daily operations at satellite offices and coordinates the work activities and schedules.
Ensures provisions of safe, high-quality patient care by the staff.
Evaluates performance and makes recommends
Ensures that office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care.
Ensures that all business functions are operative and that all processes are effectively and efficiently in place. Reviews processes and makes recommendations for improvement.
Maintains current documentation in accordance to standards and policies.
Maintains the appropriate par levels for inventory of supplies for both medical and nonmedical.
Ensures all requests for information by physicians, staff, administration and others are handled promptly.
Operates within the context of an established budget. Makes recommendations for annual budget and maximizes opportunities to meet and exceed budget guidelines.
Communicates appropriately and clearly to coworkers, physicians and practice leadership.
Maintains established office policies and procedures, objectives, performance improvement program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Answers telephone calls in a professional manner, directs calls appropriately; refers patient problems to office physician; schedules patient appointments.
Assists in cost containment through appropriate ordering and conserving of supplies and equipment.
Maintains a good working relationship with all staff members.
Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
Performs other duties as assigned within the office supervisor's scope of practice.
