Baptist Health is looking for an experienced Office Specialist for the Baptist Primary Care office located at the Baptist South campus. This Office Specialist position will report to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

The Office Specialist for Baptist Primary Care will provide business services for patients via telephone. The primary responsibility of this Office Specialist is to work in a phone room, and they will receive incoming calls on a rotation basis and will be the point of contact for medical records. This Primary Care office is conveniently located on the corner of I-95 and Old St. Augustine Road at the Baptist South campus.

Additional responsibilities for the Office Specialist may include:

• Patient registration

• Scheduling new appointments

• Changing and canceling appointments

• Updating demographics

• Assisting with medical records

• Communicating with Providers and other office staff regarding patient care

• Additional responsibilities on an as needed basis
