Robert Half Legal is seeking a multi-faceted legal office services detail oriented for a position in a prominent San Francisco law firm for a contract to full-time assignment! Candidates must be proficient in copying, reception, hospitality, and any other administrative tasks requested or quick learning individuals who are detail and task oriented. The opportunity requires 40 hours per week.

Requirement for this position: ? Minimum of internship (six months plus) of experience as a Reception Associate or Administrative Assistant (in a law firm preferred). ? Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook a plus ? Proven Ability to work with highly visible client groups ? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ? Training Manager - Police Services Support Office (PSSO) The Training Manager is a strategic role which will drive the training program of the Police Services Division and oversee the activities of the District Training Unit. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to promote continuous improvement for our business line. The position will also have a key role in working under the general direction of the Police Services Support Office (PSSO) Director in leading the Division's basic, in-service and professional development training programs and furthering the PSSO team's support of Operations and Division leadership. Duties and Responsibilities: * Coordinate and lead all aspects of training including strategy, design, development, and delivery of high quality programs * Evaluate training materials, curriculum, and delivery strategy for consistency and to ensure training program meets business line needs * Support and lead the development of complex automated training tools in support of web conferences, online learning, and re-usable self-initiated curriculum * Present informed and well structured presentations on training strategy to executive level groups * Manage large projects from initial analysis through post-project evaluation with only general direction provided by management * Maintain records of and monitor training activities to assess the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes * Identify difficult operational problems to determine specific training needs to address or eliminate them * Function as the central contact for business line training programs and activities * Mentor, coach, develop, and evaluate training personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function * Maintains an ongoing strategic training plan to include programs and special initiatives * Coordinates with management, other District or System staff and workgroups, outside vendors and consultants to analyze, design and develop divisional development and training needs * Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques * Works with bank's Talent & Development team on coordinated training efforts * Assist division leadership in the development of staff through succession and talent development planning * Prepares and manages the annual training budget and monitors budget performance on an ongoing basis to ensure planned budget performance. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred, or equivalent of 8 – 10 years of related training experience * Successfully completed a 40-hour Instructor Development Course or certification in training particularly Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred * One or more professional association memberships (i.e., Association for Talent Development, Organizational Development Network, International Association of Facilitators) * Strong leadership skills with prior supervisory accountabilities desired * Accomplished problem solving/analytical, and time management * Highly adept communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills; interpersonal skills to include influence and negotiation * Strong experience in design, development and implementation of training plans and curriculum; and proficiency with creating electronic learning modules * Self-motivated, requiring minimal guidance to meet departmental objectives * Strong technical proficiency and knowledge of computer hardware and software, operating systems, browsers, basic Internet navigation, and downloading/installing software * Knowledge of procedures and practices of the law enforcement function preferred * Ability to perform involved, independent research and develop creative work products * Ability to lead and influence in a highly matrix or virtual organization * Instructional design experience with a focus on Instructor-led, web-based and self-paced content both new course creation and existing course improvement * Ability to lead and collaborate with stakeholders on the assessment, design, development, and delivery of effective learning solutions that align with the business needs of the organization * Must possess a demonstrated ability and understanding of adult learning principles and learning methodology * Must be customer focused with strong execution skills and a results orientation, able to link organizational challenges and objectives with tactical execution and results.
