Responsibilities:

  • Physically distribute mail and Courier packages by cart, dolly or hand truck to and from various departments throughout the building.

  • Make timely collection of outgoing mail (letters, parcels, U.S. Postal, interdepartmental), using cart or, for larger items hand truck or dolly.

  • Deliver office supplies and copy paper to walk-up copiers.

  • Deliver overnight mail.

  • Delivering copy materials to various floors.

  • Inspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items.

  • Ship out products in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Pickup outbound boxes and packages from internal customer locations.

  • Ability to sort items into categories according to established methods.

  • Prepare items for processing, shipment or transportation.

  • Enter activity data in logs, maintain records.

  • Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment [such as FedEx].

  • Fix minor copier malfunctions

  • Provide support to copy center

  • Operate black & white and color copiers

  • Process document scanning requests

  • Perform finishing binding utilizing various pieces of equipment

  • Provide back up coverage for reception desk when required.

  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed for special projects

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years office services related experience preferred with knowledge of commonly used Office Services procedures.

  • 1-3 years experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel,).

  • Excellent customer service skills; must possess a "can do" attitude.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A team player with customer focus skills.

  • Possess computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Possess Keyboarding and Windows environment PC Skills

  • Ability to navigate internet and intranet as needed to execute responsibilities.

  • Minimum 1-2 years document/ reprographics related experience.

  • Handle multiple projects at one time.

  • Ability to effectively work individually of in team environment.

  • Possess basic mathematical skills.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy.

  • Lifting up to 40 lbs.
