Job Summary
The first person our customers/clients see goes a long way in setting the tone for the rest of their experience while they're in our offices, which is why it's so important that our primary office assistant embodies the values and culture of our company. If you have a friendly and productive attitude, we need you to answer and field calls to the right individuals and departments, maintain the office calendar, greet visitors and manage all daily meetings. Your position will provide you with an abundance of variety as our company is going through quite a growth spurt that's likely to continue for the next several years. Job Responsibilities
  • Answer multi line phone calls within three rings in a pleasant and professional manner, helping callers and directing callers as needed.
  • Perform light bookkeeping (payment tracking and customer invoicing) at the end of every daily, as well as some monthly bookkeeping..
  • Offer administrative and clerical support and manage daily administrative activities.
  • Meet and greet guests and walk-ins with a smile and friendly disposition, answering questions or directing them to the proper department or individual.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing deliveries, including signing for them, calling for pickup, confirming delivery and making sure recipients receive their packages.
  • Help maintain the appearance of the office, which includes conference rooms, office supply closet and waiting room.

Job Skills & Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or its equivalent
At least one year of experience as primary/main office assistant
Current knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks

A Box Office / Cashier will create a welcome environment for Customers. They will sells tickets to movies and special events while providing movie and event information. They will enforce film studio and theatre admission policies. This individual will clean and maintain the box office area. They are responsible for security of cash and tickets. The Box Office Cashier may also be asked to double as the Concession Worker, Restaurant Worker, or Usher, as staffing needs require. As a result, such an Employee must also be able to perform the essential job functions of those positions. A Day in the Life of a Box Office / Cashier: * Greets Customers and visitors in a professional manner. * Provides movie, special event, and general theatre information. * Suggests alternative movie selections, as appropriate. * Enters ticket sale, accepts payment, processes transaction, and makes correct change. * Prevents underage children from seeing adult audience (R-rated and NC-17 rated) movies. * Complies with film studio admittance policies, including any pass and/or discount ticket restrictions. * Processes pass admissions. * Voids passes, coupons, and discount tickets after the transaction has finished. * Processes refunds when necessary and completes any required forms. * Answers telephone in a professional manner. * Keeps box office area clean and clutter-free. * Responsible for cash balance at end of shift. * Updates box office marquees and displays. * Watches for safety or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and reports to management. * Performs other work-related duties as assigned. What You Will Need to Have: * Availability to work flexible shifts which include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. * Requires regular and consistent attendance. * Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities. * Ability to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend in English. * Ability to speak clearly and to hear or lip-read adequately. * Manual dexterity and an aptitude for mathematics is required to make change, operate computerized ticketing equipment, and change box office signage boards or displays. * Box offices are often small and enclosed spaces in which a Cashier is required to stand or sit for an extended period of time. * Must be at least 16 years of age. * Strong verbal and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently. * Accurate cash handling and math skills.
