Current Department of Developmental Disabilities OCSEA employees shall receive first consideration pursuant to Article 17 of the collective bargaining agreement.

Hourly wage will be paid at step 1, unless otherwise specified by collective bargaining agreement or rules outlined in the ORC/OAC.

Perform basic clerical tasks & provide routine office assistance: Maintains and upkeep of email subscriber lists; handles weekly unsubscribes and bounce email subscriptions; add new contacts to requested lists; restructure and delete lists; sync all applicable lists with Lyris & Constant Contact monthly; performs miscellaneous maintenance of the employee intranet (posts, removes posts, add/update/remove content as needed, etc.); create sliders for new content or events; add new content to the Media Library and give them tags and descriptions; update weekly poll question to intranet on SharePoint; ongoing maintenance of specific sections like webinar catalog under direct supervision; assists in mapping site pages and content for web master; add videos and organize them into playlists as requested; split videos into chunks for smaller highlights; narrate and caption video as requested.

Works with team to: Manage tags and organization for all archived content; add newly weekly content to the archive as it is released/requested in support of the communications team; works with team to build screens for animations written and storyboarded by other team members; draft and final voice overs.

Performs other related duties: Files, helps with team projects.Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary.

VIEW JOBS 3/14/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-12T00:00 Ohio Department of Public Safety - Ohio State Highway Patrol Report in Location: 2855 West Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235 Provide administrative assistance to District Staff Officers by relieving them of routine administrative tasks (e.g., compose answers to correspondence, provide requested materials, provide explanation of Divisions duties & responsibilities either orally or by written correspondence, research & respond to internal &/or external inquiries, coordinate daily work flow of office, update &/or maintain office manuals &/or notebooks); Utilize various databases to input, update &/or retrieve information (e.g., office equipment & supplies, requisitions & deliveries, crash reports, vehicle repairs, training records, &/or monthly weights, etc.); Use personal computer to complete tasks (e.g., create records, files, letters, & Inter Office Communications, prepare reports, statistical information, minutes of meetings, contracts, tables, graphs, confidential backgrounds & other types of investigations, etc.); Review all materials for errors & make necessary corrections; Send teletypes; Review invoices for accuracy & completeness. Receive invoices (e.g., date stamp, verify charges, record in account book for future payment); Pays invoices &/or purchases with state issued credit card (e.g., prepare District wide monthly voyager report; process miscellaneous revenue); Maintain appropriate personal equipment inventory records for District Personnel & facility (e.g., fleet inventory, gasoline, phone utilities, vehicle maintenance tracking, etc.); Perform related clerical tasks (e.g., take messages, screen & direct calls, maintain procedure files & retrieve information from them as needed, copy & distribute written materials, keep records of district level off-duty details, maintain inventory of office supplies & requisitions when needed, etc.); Greet visitors & direct them to the appropriate staff officer or directly assist them; Fill in for other support staff in their absence; Perform other related duties as required. 1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications.
