Park Place of Elmhurst is an elegant five-star community conveniently located across the street from Edward Elmhurst hospital. We are seeking a full time Office Manager to join our team as a key leadership team member in carrying out our mission to deliver quality care to our residents by strategically managing our most valuable resource - people!
The Office Manager reflects the mission, vision, and values of Providence Life Services. The Office Manager performs a variety of administrative and operational duties to support the efficient day-to-day management and coordination of office procedures.

Summary of essential job functions
Utilizing excellent communication skills, perform general administrative duties as required or directed by the Executive Director/Administrator.
Manage, support, and hire the Concierge team, ensuring schedule coverage.
Serves as main contact for residents and families regarding billing.
Coordinate meetings and maintain minutes when needed. Schedule and participate as needed. Key member of leadership team and associated activities.
Consult with Executive Director/Administrator concerning administrative and business needs and related areas, to assist in eliminating/correcting problem areas and/or improvement of services. Maintain a good working rapport with all departments.
Perform administrative requirements to support the operations of the campus as needed.
Schedule appointments, process mail, answer phones, etc. Keep the appropriate person(s) advised of meetings, appointments, as necessary.
Collaborate with HR on personnel matters as required, keep all personnel matters strictly confidential; and maintain confidentiality of all resident information.
Support financial functions and communicate with corporate billers, facilitating accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Exceptional typing skills
Minimum 5 years + direct experience
Background in writing or business a plus
Highly proficient in MS Office
Outlook Calendar Management
Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of fifty pounds to a minimum height of three feet.
