Our client is an innovative and growing architectural design firm is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Office Manager. This is a full time opportunity with benefits working fully onsite in their Houston office, located in the Northeast side of Houston near George Bush International Airport.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the processing and distribution of internal and external mail.
Provide general support to visitors and office staff.
Performs administrative tasks for executives and shareholders, which may include maintaining calendars and schedules, making reservations, making travel arrangements, and preparing and submitting expense reports.
Maintains or coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Ensuring all invoices and payments are sent to the CFO.
Organizing and scheduling of conferences
Assist in coordinating in-house activities such as parties, celebrations, and conferences.
Assist Architects with licensing renewals and transcripts.
Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience with File Maker Pro and Word Press a plus.
Intermediate or Advanced Excel knowledge
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Able to work independently and be flexible.
Excellent time management skills
Overall excellent work ethic
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
Experience working in an Architect environment a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
Three to five years of experience in various office functions preferred.
