KVC Hospitals Kansas City offers psychiatric inpatient and residential treatment services for children and adolescents in a modern, safe, secure and child-friendly environment. We are seeking an Office Manager to join our team.

The Office Manager is responsible for hiring, training and supervising full-time and part-time reception staff; retrieve, sort, open and distribute mail/faxes to appropriate staff; order office supplies for the entire hospital and order food for events and meetings as necessary. Maintain/update consumer databases, submit records to state boards as needed and submit invoices and check requests to Accounts Payable daily. This position will entail some weekend availability.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow of the reception and office area

  • Work closely with administration, practitioners and clinicians to ensure outstanding services are provided

  • Responsible for maintaining program records, handling sensitive and confidential information and assisting administrators with various tasks and duties

Pay rate starts at $36,000 per year.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Licensure/Certification: Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Experience: One year of related experience.

The therapist will collaborate with hospital liaisons, mental health centers and the community to collectively address individual needs of the clients. Minimum Requirements: Education: Master's Degree in social work, family therapy or counseling from an accredited institution. Licensure/Certification: LMSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LPC, LCPC, LSCSW or another approved license with the Kansas BSRB to practice in the capacity of this position. Valid driver's license and auto insurance. Experience: Minimum of one year supervised experience in providing individual, family and group therapy to children and/or adolescents in a hospital setting.
