The opportunity

Leverage your leadership skills to:

  • Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple tax offices

  • Coach and lead the teams to deliver outstanding client service and exceed targeted goals

  • Grow the business through developing local partnerships, managing office community involvement, and modeling and coaching sales and new client growth tactics

  • Assist in the development and execution of office-level business plans

  • Assist in recruiting and interviewing tax office associates

Minimum Qualifications

What you'll bring to the team

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education & experience)

  • 3+ years of prior retail supervisor or related experience (multi-unit experience preferred)

  • Prior experience as an Office Manager or Tax Professional experience preferred

  • Leadership, supervisory, and coaching skills to guide and inspire associates to achieve high goals

  • Demonstrated aptitude for business plan execution and desire to grow the business

  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing returns)

  • Annual completion of 18-hour continuing education and ability to meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements (if preparing returns)

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking skills are a big plus, but not required

The Agency is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, andenthusiastic; individual who has experience working with individuals withintellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities, whose goal is to make adifference in the lives of others. The official title of this position is aProgram Manager IV (PM) for the Southeastern Residential Services (SRS). Thefunctional title for this position is the Director of Consumer Supports andTraining. This position supports more than two hundred and twenty five (225 )individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live inresidential settings across the Southeast Region. The PM participates in orchairs a variety of committees which include the following: three (3) HumanRights Committees, Diversity, and Risk Management committees. This positionalso oversees the agency training committee and the committee for StandardOperating Procedures. In addition to being the agency's liaison overseeing theDDS Surveys and Certifications, this position coordinates the agency'sinvestigation for the Disabled Person Protection Commission (DPPC). Additionalresponsibilities related to the Human Rights Committees (HRC) involve writingthe agenda and reviewing the minutes for the HRC meetings. Gathering andpreparing information for the committees review that will include all pertinentmaterial from the agency; such as incident reports, medication occurrences,supports, health related protections, and Level II behavior plans that includerestrictive practices. Please Note: This position is required to have On-Call responsibilities which include one full week on-call/8 week rotation. This position is in a residential program that operates 24-hours/7 days a week. The Department of Developmental Services requires employees in this position to be available when circumstances dictate the need.
