DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Office Manager who possesses a solid foundation in financial management, including a basic understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, invoicing processes, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the ability to analyze month-end financial trends. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial activities and requires a candidate who can navigate the complexities of financial data with precision and insight.

Job Description

Responsible for the management of the site, office, and administrative areas including mail, receptionist, building maintenance, vendor relationships (including security, cleaning, maintenance) and supply room, as applicable

  • Interview, hire, train and manage administrative staff

  • Procure office and vendor supplies

  • Act as liaison for business services including telephone company, landlord, janitorial service, security services, etc.; as applicable

  • Ensure administrative and staff equipment needs are met by recommending purchases and, if necessary, initiating appropriate paperwork

Required Education and Experience

  • High school Diploma or equivalent, required
  • 3-5 years in line management position, required

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting or a related financial or Office Manager role, with a focus on account management and financial reporting

  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including P&L management, invoicing, and month-end analysis

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

  • Proficiency in Essbase, Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial matters
