Office Manager
The Office Manager has overall responsibility to manage the daily office activities of the main office for the Risk Management and Safety Department, as well as provide training, supervision, and oversight to the main office student and part-time employees in their performance of customer service and office tasks. This position also provides direct administrative assistance and direct support to the Managing Director as well as general support to department full-time, part-time and student employees including various University committees.
What you'll do in this position:
Manage student and part-time employees in the front office
Conduct monthly front office staff meetings and prepare agendas and trainings
Create and follow through with work orders and service requests
Manages the Universities first aid, CPR, and AED programs
Administrative assistance and support and other duties as assigned
Assists customers in person and over the phone
Develop special event request and club activity waivers
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
High School Diploma and 3 or more years of full-time or part-time relevant work experience.
First Aid, CPR, & AED Instructor (ARC) or willing to achieve certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of relevant work and supervisor experience.
Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite
Understands office practices with attention to detail and anticipate department needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
