Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our team and help lead our veterinary practice to continued success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This position is unique for a privately owned veterinary hospital in that you will be working with a back end management team that handles the bookkeeping, financial management including hospital bill paying, A/R, payroll, benefit management and policy management. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the veterinary office, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Foster a positive work environment by providing guidance, support, and training to staff members.
• Manage client relations and ensure that all interactions reflect our commitment to professionalism and quality care.
• Collaborating with the hospital management team in monitoring financial performance and implementing strategies to achieve revenue goals while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, management team and staff to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the quality of service we provide.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Veterinary or Medical practice experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a managerial role, preferably within a veterinary practice.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in practice management software; training on our management platforms will be provided.
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to deescalate high-stress scenarios that may arise.
