CLINIC OFFICE MANAGER ASSISTANTRegular Full Time Status: Exempt / Salary Reports to: CLINIC OFFICE MANAGERMedical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, Paid HolidaysEssential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)* Oversee front office patient scheduling and patient check in to include verifying of data information for private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and self-pay patients. * Schedule patient appointments. * Check in patients in a positive and friendly manner. * Collect insurance information, co-pays, payments toward balances, and payments towards deductibles. * Write payment receipts for patients. * Handle the process of collections at time of service. * Assist and support Office Manager in day-to-day operations of clinic. * Assist with coordination of clinic office meetings and front office activities. * Ability to make decisions in the process of trouble shooting problems for clinic providers. * Assist in new hire paperwork and training. * Create purchase orders when ordering medical and office supplies. * Process A/P invoices * Set up travel arrangements for office staff. * Keep vendor files up to date. * Daily deposits and reconcile payments. * Answer phones, take messages and perform general office duties. * Work as part of a team and exhibit competent and effective communications skills. * Maintain, organize, and keep employee information up to date. * Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure. * Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards and other grant requirements. * Perform all work duties and activities in compliance with CC Idaho, Joint Commission, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.Qualifications/BenefitsQualificationsRequired * High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of office operations and management experience * Ability to operate standard office equipment and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. * Must pass a background check. * Evidence of no communicable disease * Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance * Current First Aid and CPR certificationPreferred: * Associate's degree in business administration or related field * Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting. * Advanced office management certificationRequired Physical Demands * Is required to stand for long periods of time; must frequently walk; climb or balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reach with hands and arms; grasping/holding. * Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.Work EnvironmentWork in an office setting; the work may be stressful; the noise level is moderate; may be exposed to electrical shock and fumes or airborne particles.If you are interested in becoming a leader, making a difference, and inspiring others then apply today to become a part of CC Idaho's team.We offer a wide range of benefits.
