Univision is looking for an Office Coordinator. The Office Coordinator will complete a broad variety of administrative tasks. Individual must be customer focused with high work ethic, and enjoy working in a results-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills. The Office Coordinator will work independently, and must be able to work under pressure. and handle a variety of circumstances.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive telephone calls, e-mail messages, greet viewers and listeners, and provides assistance using independent judgment to determine those that requires attention priority.

  • Manage multiple competing priorities daily and execute within guidelines set, take initiative to assist as issues arise and find/propose solutions to problems as they arise.

  • Respond to requests for information from external and internal sources.

  • Coordinate team calendar, meeting locations,

  • Organize and maintain filing system, order office supplies handle mail daily prizing for radio and tv stations with proper filing of affidavits, and manage/maintain EEO Hiring Requirements.

  • Maintain discretion regarding confidential information that passes through the office

  • Must communicate in a professional manner with members of the department

  • Other responsibilities, as assigned by VP and department heads.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Must be proactive and open to working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and "can-do" attitude.

  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities concurrently.

  • Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

  • Able to work under pressure with frequent interruptions.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

  • Must be thorough and exhibit an ability to see projects/tasks through to completion.

  • Excellent telephone skills and etiquette.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Broadcast Media/Entertainment industry experience is a plus

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) Adobe, Social Media web platforms.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to work from office in San Antonio, TX

  • Employment/education will be verified

  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Summary of Position: The Office Coordinator, under the supervision of the City President, will work closely with the Division Presidents, the Vice-Presidents of Construction and the general office staff to provide organizational support for the Perry Homes office in San Antonio/Austin. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Answer calls and greet and assist all visitors. * Provide administrative support functions to the City President, Division President, VPC's and other personnel to include projects and assignments as needed. * Prepare and distribute memos, files, letters, policy changes, reports, etc. * Maintain the office condition and coordinate necessary repairs with the Building and Facilities Manager. * Perform accounting tasks to include processing invoices and reconciling expense reports. * Handle HR onboarding paperwork. * Maintain and order supplies. * Miscellaneous filing, copying and faxing. * Handle mail delivery and distribution, receive and log in all packages and notify recipients. * Schedule company conference rooms. * From time to time must complete projects with short notice in extreme time constraints. * Comply with all company policies and procedures including those set forth in writing in the Employee Handbook and elsewhere. * Maintain a high level of decorum and professionalism expected of all company employees. * Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Supervisory responsibilities * No supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Requires 2+ years of relevant administrative support experience. * Ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate with others effectively, both orally and in writing, in a professional and competent manner. * Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, to compute percentages, and to perform basic algebra and geometry. * Demonstrated organization and time management, which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining thoroughness and precision. * A team-oriented, proactive and adaptable work ethic.
