Overview:

The Solution Central Office Coordinator is a highly energetic customer service focused individual who performs duties related to the overall support of a multipurpose office suite. The coordinator plays a pivotal role in establishing a collaborative culture within the four functional areas in the multipurpose service department. This individual will possess functional knowledge of the four offices in this area: Center for Student Success, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Student Financial Services. This position will greet students, assist in the facilitation of processes for the four departments, triage inquiries, coordinate meetings, and ensure each student and visitor satisfaction with their experience. The coordinator must possess an ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate with different stakeholders, while establishing a student-centered, customer service culture within the office. This position is a 9 month position.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a central point of contact for multiple offices, responding to inquiries and directing requests to the appropriate personnel.

  • Greets each and every student/visitor to assess needs, provide immediate feedback, and follow up communication as appropriate.

  • Coordinate effective communication and collaboration between different offices.

  • Facilitate information flow by disseminating announcements, and other relevant materials to the respective offices.

  • Connect with external stakeholders throughout the university, proactively gaining knowledge of every aspect of the university in order to better serve the students.

  • Collaborate with office leaders and staff to support various projects, including research, data collection, and report preparation.

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of special events, campaigns, and initiatives undertaken by the offices.

  • Uses scheduling software to coordinate student/staff meetings.

  • Foster effective working relationships with staff members from different offices, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Collaborate with other administrative personnel to share best practices, streamline processes, and address common challenges.

  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities as required.

  • This position is focused on customer service for our students and is not eligible for a hybrid/remote work schedule.

  • Assist in documenting student awards, recognition, and community service and leadership opportunities to help ensure compliance with student graduation requirements.

  • Assist in P-card reconciliation for self and others.

  • Assist in posting Club/University events via online calendar and university displays.

  • Assist departments in Solution Central with other tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree required.

  • Five years of professional experience is preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in using office productivity software, as well as ability to adapt to new software. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks and documentation. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information. Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
