Office Coordinator

Marijuana Business Daily (MJBizDaily), since 2011 the best-known producer of B2B news and trade shows serving executives and major investors in America's $8 billion cannabis industry, is seeking an Office Coordinator to ensure that our office operations run smoothly and that our leadership is administratively supported. You'll undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks such as coordinating schedules, monitoring office supply inventory, greeting visitors , supporting other teams with various administrative tasks. and providing a generally helpful and positive demeanor.

You'll report to our Operations Manager, be based in our Denver office and receive a competitive salary, paid time off, 401(k) and health benefits. As seen in Inc. We have doubled in staff size over the past year and require an amazing Admin to help the team be successful..

Day to day job description:

  • Manage, sort and, deliver incoming mail/packages/deliveries

  • Manage office supply inventory and order as needed

  • Communicate with internal and external Executives as well as service providers on the phone/via email

  • Support Executive team - set appointments, meetings and conference calls, assist in travel arrangements, create expense reports in Concur for select corporate credit card holders

  • Maintain a clean and organized public space, including reception area and break room/kitchen

  • Report any updates or pertinent issues to be addressed to our Operations Manager

  • Help to plan office functions (celebrations, holiday parties, all-hands meetings etc.)

  • Communicate updates to staff members in office as well as remote members of the team

  • Know everyone in the office and point new staff members in the right direction when they have a question

  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Required background/skills:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in office administration or Bachelors degree in office administration or related business field preferred

  • 2+ years working in office admin

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Outstanding communicator both verbally and written

The ideal candidate must possess excellent computer skills as we are an electronic medical records based practice. Qualified candidate must have completed a certified Medical Assistant education program and/OR have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. This position will work at our office located at the Porter Medical Center and must be willing to work at other office within the practice, as needed. Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Employment at Colorado Kidney Care is contingent on successful completion of pre-employment screening and background check which includes motor vehicle record. This position entails heavy computer and administrative duties paired; qualified candidate must be competent and enjoy admin duties as well as traditional MA duties and patient care, including but not limited to the following: Responsibilities and Duties: * Greet patients and perform Check-in and Check-out procedures in an accurate and timely manner * Room patients, process urine specimens, and take vitals * Process patient payments and perform billing payment entry * Prepare payment batches and maintain accurate office money and cash transactions * Schedule patient appointments * Perform medication, test and procedure authorizations * Distribute notes and information to outside providers/entities when needed * Prepare for patient office visits and prepare lab work in patient charts * Maintain appointment waitlist and schedule waitlist appointments whenever possible * Scan and attach patient medical records and administrative documents in EMR * Utilize and maintain office communication through Outlook, calendars and task reminder * Review and process incoming faxes, and flow labs that are not electronically sent * Make patient reminder calls for lab work two weeks prior to patient appointments * Cross coverage of other duties as needed & other duties as assigned Experience and Skills: * Completion of a certified Medical Assistant education program and have a minimum of two years of relevant MA experience * High school diploma or GED * Professionalism in appearance, behavior, and communication * Expected to communicate in a precise and clear manner, verbally and in writing * Works with others in a cooperative and supportive manner * Displays patience and compassion in all patient interactions * Ability to effectively multitask in a fast paced environment * Possess an intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Ability to navigate the internet proficiently * Proficient with general math skills * Expected to function at a high level of efficiency without constant supervision and also work as part of a team * Possess a valid driver's license with a good MVR Valued but not required skills and experience (optional): * Bi-lingual skills for Spanish speaking patient communication is a preferred; we offer pay differential for bi-lingual skills based on proficiency and translation skill level * Experience with EMR is preferred but not required, if computer skills are strong We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits including: * Medical, dental, vision and life insurance * 401K Plan * Education reimbursement * Holiday pay and generous paid time-off plan Denver Nephrology Denver CO
