The role you'll contribute:
Works under the general supervision of the Agency Manager, the Office Coordinator is responsible for answering phones, assisting with special projects as needed, performs timely and accurate data entries and routine clerical duties. Faxes orders, Plans of Care, F2F, and maintain electronic record of such to ensure compliance with billing guidelines. Manages record requests from insurance companies as well as patients. Performs other duties as directed. Exposure to confidential employee and departmental information is continuous and must be considered a priority in always maintaining this confidentiality.

Be fully cross trained in timekeeping duties, processing supplemental payroll items, and submitting reimbursements with accuracy.
Answer telephone in a professional and courteous manner, take messages, direct calls to appropriate staff members.
Fax medication interactions, discharge summaries, and lab reports to physician offices.
Scan and attach paper documents into Epic to maintain clinical record.
Proactively process and track interim orders, POCs, F2F to include logging records into the electronic medical record when faxed and received back signed from physician to ensure timely claim release.
Assist with clerical aspects of discharged patient record audits (Notify and follow-up with clinical staff members as appropriate under the direction of PCS as appropriate.
Establish, coordinate, and maintain office procedures, and manage office equipment as directed.
Demonstrate proactive responsibility for A/R aging and/or other billing issues with CBO.
Prepare and track records for ADR responses under the supervision of the Agency Manager.
Record agency invoices in timely manner
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in health care setting/medical office required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
· Graduation of Business College with an Associate's degree preferred.
