Office Coordinator
POSITION LOCATION
This position is available to Virginia residents as Lynchburg, VA in-office applicants
YOUR ROLE
You will provide technical support to the Facilities team and assist the team with maintaining the highest building standards in our Lynchburg facility. You'll actively contribute to the team standard of consistently providing excellent customer service in the support of the business and will serve as the "hub" for all building needs in Lynchburg. Your primary responsibility will be assisting the Facility Manager with the day-to-day operations of our Lynchburg facility to ensure a fantastic associate experience. This vital role is also responsible for administrative tasks to support the Facilities Manager including timely creation of Purchase Requisitions and processing of invoices. You will also assist with workspace assignments and floorplan updates. This role will work with departments and staff to schedule large events in common areas, including organizing room configurations and finding the best option for the event location.
The Facilities team places high emphasis on providing a positive experience for Genworth associates. You will oversee multiple Facilities support processes and have high levels of associate and departmental interactions that support this goal. Attention to detail, drive to actively collaborate with associates, and a high level of customer service skills are required.
What you will be doing
Manage day to day administration of Lynchburg office buildings
Manage the Facilities Purchase Requisition process for Genworth's Lynchburg Site
Process invoices and serve as a backup for the Office Manager (Richmond)
Monitor usage of and ordering of office supplies
Ensure all workspaces are clean and in good order; escalate issues as needed
Update Lynchburg seating assignments
Coordinate, plan and direct office event planning
Assist with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting and documentation
Assist Senior Facility Manager and Office Manager with budget preparation
Assist Facilities team with vendors while on site
What you bring
Experience as an office coordinator or assistant preferred
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
