Job Description

Works closely with leaders, assisting with overall strategic planning for the Grandview Clinic Network. Will perform special projects as assigned by the leadership, produce financial reports, spreadsheets, financial data related summaries and assume other appropriate operational responsibility as necessary.

Sedentary work performed in office setting. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.

Performs all needed research to ensure claims are filed timely in accordance with all billing requirements. <br><br> Works all vendor/payer audit trails and files secondary claims. Additionally, the Patient Accounts Representative is responsible for obtaining pre-certs as requested. High School diploma or equivalent required. 2 years experience in a physician practice/healthcare setting and 1 year experience in patient billing. <br><br> Excellent computer skills preferred and basic medical terminology. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
