Provide administrative support in a production facility. Take responsibility for coordinating a broad array of activities, many of which are typically handled by other groups in a large corporate facility. Support areas including Facilities, Accounting, Purchasing and Human Resources. This position has budgetary accountability, acts as the safety coordinator and performs other general office functions.

Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupports departments with central corporate departments (HR, R&D, IT, etc.)

  • Takes direction from multiple functional areas

  • Supervises office activities to achieve maximum expense control and productivity.

  • Acts as executive administrative assistant to facilities leadership.

  • Organizes and coordinate meetings (internal/external), teleconference and video conferences, and define/prepare logistics for large facilities.

  • Supports the group with business travel accommodations.

  • Trains and sets up new employees in the use of Zimmer Biomet for entering, creating and approving requisitions.

  • Works to establish and maintain vendor contacts for maintenance of office and production equipment.

  • Manages inventory for office equipment/supplies. Orders supplies for general office use, copiers, faxes, and printers.

  • Coordinates and supports finance with tagging of assets for inventory of equipment, serial number verification, in-service equipment date, etc.

Ability to handle multiple jobs simultaneously while working in a fast-pace, high stress environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents and correctly handle exposure to highly sensitive information.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to operate independently to make decisions and handle issues.

Education/Experience RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred. 5+ years of applicable experience.

Travel RequirementsUp to 5% travel
