Job Title: Office Clerk

Job Description

An office clerk role has opened up for an individual who is a pro at multi-tasking. This involves answering phone calls, checking in visitors and escorting them to their location, opening and distributing mail, and performing data entry. You will also be expected to maintain files, order supplies, review and verify payroll, and forward information to internal departments for processing. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and entering purchase orders and voucher requests into Oracle and Maximo Financials, tracking paid invoices for budget reconciliation and planning, and interfacing with vendors. Your role will also require providing customer service both internally and externally, answering routine questions, resolving issues, providing follow-up and performing other support duties as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining spreadsheets and databases, performing queries, compiling data, preparing budgeted vs actual expenses for variances, and tracking expenses. You'll also reconcile corporate credit card statements and enter them into Oracle HCM or forward them to the Accounts Payable department. This role includes coordinating meetings, sending invitations and reminders, arranging for refreshments and audio-visual equipment, preparing agendas and documents, and creating PowerPoint presentations. Your role will also include planning Service Center Events and Community Volunteer Events, monitoring open and pending work orders, and serving as a central point for information requests and distribution.

Hard Skills

This is a fully on-site position in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

This role is based in a fast-paced office environment and requires the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once. You will be working closely with various departments and external vendors.
