What You'll Get to Do:

Working with CACI to assist the mission of the US Department of Justice.

More About the Role:

  • Types, edits, corrects, etc. documents, charts, tables, etc. as required.

  • Proofreads, edits, and corrects OCR'd text files.

  • Responsible for routine file maintenance, including maintaining backup copies of original files, as well as working files.

  • Performs quality control over own work and work of peers.

  • Performs simple maintenance on office machines such as copiers and fax machines. Organizes and maintains correspondence files.

  • May serve in a coordinating role for a pool of Word Processors, monitoring workload and progress, and performing quality control.

  • Provides user services and support at an advanced level for specific office application packages, particularly word processing, graphics/presentation, and spreadsheet packages. Provides tips and assistance to other users in best use of these packages.

  • Is expected to work independently on tasks without the need for continuous input from DOJ staff.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • At least three years word processing experience; at least one year experience in the specific office automation environment required (e.g., Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat).

  • Be able to perform at an expert level using the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and telecommunications systems.

  • Must work well under pressure.

  • Must be able to type at a minimum rate of 65 wpm with an accuracy rate of 95%.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Litigation support experience valued.

  • Office Case Management skills.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced office environment through personal organization, assessing priorities, attention to detail and strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Foreign language skills a plus.
