Under moderate supervision of the Manager responsible for supporting all technical needs in the division and remote locations. Technical support includes and is defined by tasks related to personal computer systems and peripherals video systems telephone systems network servers and internal wiring.

  • Maintains analyzes troubleshoots and repairs computer systems hardware and computer peripherals.

  • Documents maintains upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.

  • Assists users with questions and problems and works on simple applications.

  • Installs software and peripherals and troubleshoots hardware software and networking problems.

  • Conducts research on new technology as requested in order to stay abreast of any new releases and features of business operating systems and software utilized by the organization.

  • Maintains an adequate spare parts inventory of systems subsystems and component parts used in repair work.

  • Prepares progress reports for all work performed in tracking software.

  • Performs LAN/hard disk backups.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Requires some training in fields such as business administration accountancy sales marketing computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires two (2) to four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Under the direction of logistics leadership, and with accuracy, efficiency, and Ecolab's best interest a priority, the Logistics Analyst is accountable for supporting processes used in the management of our transportation service providers performance and costs throughout North America. This position will act as a first point of contact for the transportation department and its suppliers. Main Responsibilities * Manages workflow processing to obtain monthly early payment rebates. * Conducts freight cost and payment activity reports and distributes results. * Primary N.A. point of contact for freight cost and payment inquires. * Analyses and engages with carriers and internal teams to improve freight variances. * Performs analysis on auditing compliance, adjusts controls, and identifies loss opportunities. * Performs testing of freight workflow processes and records results in compliance with SOX. * Monitoring and reporting of freight cost from our 3rd parties. * Conducts analysis of freight costs to determine optimal mode, carrier, and handling methods. * Manage freight invoice exception processing and performance of shared services center. * Manage urgent ad hoc and routine analytical requests to meet the needs of logistics management. * Identify systemic issues and leads process improvements within the overall Freight Procure-to-Pay processes. * Works closely with Accounting/Finance stakeholders and our 3PL to monitor and resolve freight cost accruals. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree * 3+ years of previous work experience in freight payment processing * No immigration sponsorship available for this position Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance or Transportation * Knowledge of freight rating, tariffs, classifications, and rate formulas * Proficient with computer applications used for shipping, electronic communications, parsing and copying data * Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills * Prior experience using SAP and TMS applications * Excellent written communication and attention to detail * Strong analytical skills * Ability to exercise independent judgment and to work in teams Ecolab Inc.
