Office Assistant - Holyoke Primary Care, 40 Hours - Bilingual (Spanish)

Holyoke Medical Group (HMG) is a physician group practice affiliated with Valley Health Systems, Inc., the parent company of Holyoke Medical Center. HMG provides a broad range of physician services in offices conveniently located throughout Western Massachusetts. Services include adult primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, and walk-in care.

Our Holyoke Primary Care Physician Practice is seeking a bilingual (Spanish) experienced Office Assistant to coordinate and carry out all administrative functions for the office, including but not limited to providing administrative support to physicians/providers, greeting patients, checking for updated demographic and insurance information, at check-out collecting encounter form, co-pays and any additional appropriate fees, scheduling follow-up appointments and accurately entering outpatient orders into the Medical Center's Order Entry System.

REQUIREMENTS: High School Graduate; experience working with third party payers and working knowledge of ICD-9 and HCPC coding preferred; two years of experience in a physician's office or similar environment preferred; bilingual in English/Spanish required
