You’d be joining a team of nearly 100, based across our New York, London and Manchester offices and working with over 375 arts organizations in North America and the UK.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p></p><p>As Office Manager you will be a positive and approachable person who likes to roll up your sleeves and get on with whatever the day throws at you. You would have responsibility for overseeing the daily efficient and effective running of the Spektrix North America office. This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in various parts of the business. As well as leading on all things facilities including managing supplier relationships and company policy and procedures. You will be responsible for event organization as well as supporting the People team by acting as principal point of contact for North American recruitment and employee engagement activities.</p><p><br></p><p>You will support the President of North America and will work with Finance with responsibility for day to day financial administration of the office including managing the receipts of all checks and registering these in company check log and making weekly bank deposits. You’ll be flexible and adaptable and proactive in finding solutions to a range of tasks both office and admin related. You will be committed to supporting the business, ensuring our business infrastructure is running smoothly, creating and maintaining an enjoyable working environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Roles and responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>General office administration, including, but not limited to greeting visitors, collecting mail, upkeep of office, scheduling office cleanings</li> <li>Monitoring any issues with the building and facilities and acting as the main point of contact with the management company and contractors</li> <li>Booking travel for trainings, conferences, secondments, etc</li> <li>Act as point of contact between New York office and TechOps team in London</li> <li>Scheduling phone screens and in-person interviews</li> <li>Responsible for office prep and organizing on-boarding activities for new starters</li> <li>Organizing Spektrix events and promoting the culture of the organization</li> <li>Day to day financial administration of the North American office</li> </ul><p><strong>You should have:</strong></p><ul> <li>Experience of working in an admin role preferably within the technology or Arts sector</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects</li> <li>Solid communication skills, written and verbal</li> <li>Analytical and problem-solving skills alongside strong stakeholder management</li> <li>Ability to handle confidential information</li> <li>Positive and friendly attitude </li> <li>Discretion and diplomacy</li> </ul> Spektrix New York NY
