The Office Assistant II is responsible for providing secretarial support for the operations of the Bismarck Airport. Duties will include:

  • Tracks and processes employee credit card transactions; updates and monitors accounts payable; codes, calculates and processes invoices.

  • Processes department account receivable; prepares and processes monthly and annual billing.

  • Processes security background checks for persons requiring airport access; fingerprints personnel.

  • Calculates increases for tenant leases.

  • Schedules and coordinates meetings; makes travel arrangements for departmental staff.

  • Maintains and updates flight schedules.

  • Maintains office supply inventory; reorders as needed.

  • Establishes and maintains a variety of files and records.

  • Drafts, composes and types memoranda, letters and other correspondence.

  • Prepares a variety of regular and special reports.

  • Performs related duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.

  • Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.

Special Requirements:

  • Must meet and maintain qualifications pursuant to 49 CFR Part 1542 (Unescorted Access Authority).

  • Finalists for this position will be required to test for Microsoft Word 2010, Excel 2010, Outlook 2010, Spelling and Typing.

Miscellaneous:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorships considered. Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
