Nursing / Forensic Services Unit Work Location: Butner, NC Salary Grade: NC08 Description of Work Central Regional Hospital We are currently recruiting for a full time Office Assistant to provide office and clerical support to the personnel on the Forensic Service Unit.

This position will be located on Forensic Medium Treatment Program (B0) and will assist in covering both Pretrial/Forensic Maximum Treatment & Forensic Minimum Treatment Programs. This position reports directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager of B0 and collaborates with the Office Assistants on the other patient care units and will function in an environment requiring multitasking, adjusting to sudden change, and exposure to mentally ill patients found incapable to proceed or found not guilty by reasons of sanity for violent crimes. This position involves direct interaction with patients, staff, and other agencies.

The normal work hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday however flexibility is required to meet hospital needs. This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
