Accountemps is actively seeking an Office Assistant! The Office Assistant will be responsible for administrative and light accounting tasks. Some of these include but are not limited to:

  • Provides administrative support to executive staff with office management responsibilities.

  • Process a high volume of invoices on a weekly basis

  • Help prepare check run

  • Secretarial duties (filing, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, travel, correspondence). Must be able to work independently on projects

  • Requires excellent customer service skills

  • Strong multitasking ability required

  • Prepares various Excel, Word, and PowerPoint documents

  • Some accounts payable experience

  • Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast paced and challenging environment

  • Outstanding data entry skills

The position encompasses a wide variety of tasks included in the setting up and running of successful volunteer experiences and events, assisting with data entry and database coordination, assisting with public relations, answering phones and general office tasks as needed. Occasional evening and weekend work is required. Requirements· Must be available to work Friday, November 16 from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and Saturday, November 17, from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm for the Thanksgiving Distribution; Friday, November 23 from 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm for Red Kettle TD Garden Event and December 11-21 (including Saturday and Sunday) extended morning and evening hours. · Must be able to safely lift, load and unload boxes, supplies and other items up to 35lbs.Bachelor's degree in a related field preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMust be extremely organized, detail-oriented, timely, professional, team oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
