MSRS is looking to fill a temporary (six-month) Office and Administrative Specialist Senior to work as part of a team to process Health Care Savings Plan reimbursements. The employee will be responsible for analyzing claim forms and the accompanying verification documentation providing problem resolution support to callers investigating and/or facilitating resolution of simple to highly complex problems relating claims.
English sufficient to speak, read, understand and respond to written and spoken communication with customers
Customer Service sufficient to answer phones, refer callers and greet visitors
Data entry sufficient to maintain accurate records
Math sufficient to review reimbursement claims and balance daily batches
Skill in developing and modifying electronic spreadsheets
Medical Terminology experience
Requires occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as file folders, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
This position requires successful completion of the following:
