Job Summary

Job Summary

MSRS is looking to fill a temporary (six-month) Office and Administrative Specialist Senior to work as part of a team to process Health Care Savings Plan reimbursements. The employee will be responsible for analyzing claim forms and the accompanying verification documentation providing problem resolution support to callers investigating and/or facilitating resolution of simple to highly complex problems relating claims.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Skills in:

  • English sufficient to speak, read, understand and respond to written and spoken communication with customers

  • Customer Service sufficient to answer phones, refer callers and greet visitors

  • Data entry sufficient to maintain accurate records

  • Math sufficient to review reimbursement claims and balance daily batches

  • Skill in developing and modifying electronic spreadsheets

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical Terminology experience

Physical Requirements

Requires occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as file folders, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

This position requires successful completion of the following:

Candidate will be required to pass a background check which includes work history and criminal background.
