Dakota Fluid Power, a Singer Industrial Company, is searching for Office Administrator, to join their team in Minot, ND. We serve a diverse market portfolio including petrochemical, oil/gas, food & beverage, OE equipment, marine, MRO, construction, rental supply, power generation and mining. We do this with a robust line of fluid power, hose & fittings, belts, seals & gaskets, pneumatic and automation products, and services.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility for the Administrative Assistant is to provide support to the DFP Leadership team in an organized and proficient manner. Perform administrative duties that are highly sensitive and confidential. Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office in an ever-changing environment as the company grows.

Job Duties Include:

  • Assist with branch, divisions and outside sales reporting utilizing software programs to extract date, update excel spreadsheets, create graphs and pivot table to distribute to the team.

  • Reviewing, proofreading and editing documents for the signature of executives.

  • Schedule meetings utilizing electronic meeting room and Outlook calendar.

  • Create and maintain filing system, both electronic and physical.

  • Administration of safety training, tracking and managing 3rd party safety websites.

  • Coordinate training events as directed by management team.

  • Support employees by making travel arrangements, hotel, car or air as needed.

  • Provide assistance to upper management in researching and analyzing pricing and gross margins to help make improvements to the company's bottom line.

  • Other Duties as assigned by Management.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills (written & verbal)
  • High-level of Computer Proficiency in Common Programs including Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional Customer Service; Detail-Oriented; and Ability to Work Independently
