Job Purpose
To provide administrative support within a general office environment, typically supporting multi-functional managers and/or departments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong computer and software skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Detail oriented.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Assists Forestry Resource Manager in maintaining documentation and scale tickets on a daily basis.
Document daily production numbers.
Develop and maintain department filing system, conversion to electronic; ensure key information is archived according to company guidelines.
Perform administrative tasks such as answer phones, order office supplies, etc. arrangements and office meetings as requested.
Ensure office copier equipment is maintained and in good working order.
Manages employee purchases for sales of products.
Serves as record retention coordinator for the site, updating ACCUTRAK and managing file room ensuring that records are maintained or destroyed as required.
Assist employees with routine payroll and benefits paperwork and questions; may enter hourly time records into payroll system.
Assist with or perform activities associated HR processes, systems, and compliance programs.
Using HRIS and other information systems answering employee questions and assisting in supporting the plant HR program.
Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
Perform miscellaneous office duties.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications: Education:
Minimum Required:
Preferred:
High School Diploma
Associated degree/technical diploma or vocational certificate strongly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum Required:
One (1) + Years of experience in an office environment.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities for this position.
