New World Van Lines is a Household Goods (HHG) moving company is now hiring an Office Administrator in our Sterling, VA Service Center. We are looking for someone who is very flexible with job responsibilities and willing to help out in many ways. Day to day customer service, office and warehouse operations of the Service Center
Answer phones: phone contact with customers, drivers, and vendors
Work with all office equipment such as computers, scanners, printers, faxes, etc.
Process all paper work related to HHG moves and sending/receiving shipments, supplies, payroll for employees, reports, etc.
In-depth daily interaction with corporate headquarters and departments: Payroll, Operations, Customer Service, HR and Safety.
Conduct and process pre-move surveys for new customers
Conduct job site visits with with Customers to ensure excellent service is provided
Drive Company car/box truck as needed
Process New Hire and Benefit Paperwork
Experience with Microsoft Office
1-3 years of office and/or warehouse experience
Excellent customer service skills
Desire to learn and take initiative
Ability to work on computers, scan documents and the use office equipment
Driver License or any box truck driving experience is a plus
Clean driving record preferred
Bilingual highly preferred
Experience in household goods is a plus, not a requirement.
