This position exists to provide maximum service to Central Lakes College (CLC) through effective communications, processing students' applications, and performing administrative support work for all areas of the Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technician (DHET) and Heavy Equipment Operations and Maintenance Program (HEOM).
Spreadsheet skills sufficient to enter, compile, store, and sort data.
Word Processing skills sufficient to develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records and reports in a professional manner.
Database management skills sufficient to develop, enter, retrieve and manipulate data.
Customer Service skills sufficient to provide accurate information in a professional manner treating everyone with respect and integrity.
Math sufficient to process and monitor accurate financial records for the HEOM and DHET programs.
Must have verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to perform accurate keyboarding.
Ability to plan and administer a wide range of program activities requiring support and input from other functional areas.
Ability to develop power point presentations and make presentations.
Ability to organize projects and tasks and initiate action.
Ability to work independently within the parameters of the position.
Strong interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of Minnesota State and CLC Admission policies, procedures and regulations, FERPA and Data Privacy.
Knowledge and understanding of all CLC program majors, course and graduation requirements including current information on job market trends and employment opportunities.
