QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent

  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

  • Able to obtain a valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.

  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

  • Able to:

  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Job Description The Multi Duty Operator position is responsible for day-to-day loading and unloading of product from railcars, trucks, totes, and drums with raw materials and finished products. Complete necessary paperwork from truckers and for Supply Chain and Laboratory. Drumming product and storing finished product in the warehouse, forklift use is required. The position is responsible for the safe operation of equipment ancillary equipment to produce quality products. This position will conduct sampling and quality analysis of in-process and finished products. All responsibilities must be carried out while adhering to all safety requirements. Will maintain a clean and safe work environment. Principal Accountabilities: * Loading and unloading product from railcars, trucks, totes, and drums with raw materials and finished products. * Focus will be on creating a zero injury culture, attend all required safety trainings, BBS participation, perform all job * Responsibilities safely: loading and unloading of bulk trucks, totes and drums, and the handling of chemicals. * Drumming product and storing finished product in the warehouse, forklift use is required. * Manage paperwork and necessary SAP data input for loading and unloading product from railcars, trucks, totes, and drums with raw materials and finished products * Run quality and analytical testing on in-process and finished product in the Laboratory * Batch processes, filtration, and pumping systems. Loading and unloading bulk liquids from railcars or trucks. * Any other duties as assigned. * All employees need to wear a respirator. Requirements: * Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer. * Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility. * Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer. * Basic computer skills * Ability to work overtime * Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. * Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold * Must be able to read/write English * Ability to work in elevated areas * Must be able to operate industrial equipment * High School diploma or Equivalent Preferred * Forklift certified * Manufacturing experience in the chemical or food industry. * Experience with using computerized process control systems. * Basic maintenance knowledge and a sound mechanical aptitude. * Experience and/or basic operating knowledge of batch processes, filtration, and pumping systems. * Experience with loading and unloading bulk liquids from railcars or trucks.
