SUMMARY

The OFC Facilities Supervisor is responsible for all the aspects of the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Purchasing teams within the Omni Fulfillment Center (OFC). Responsible for managing all facility maintenance to include building, grounds, and all support equipment within a high-volume, fully automated retail distribution center. This includes conveyor systems, rolling equipment, racking/modules, HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, roofing needs, and yard maintenance. Directly oversee all maintenance activities to include preventative maintenance (PM), repairs and work orders. Ensure all responsibilities are carried out according to all safety regulations and code requirements. Manage all aspects of maintenance personnel across 2 shifts and ensures all facility maintenance needs are completed within scheduled time frames.

The OFC Facilities Supervisor manages and coordinates all outside vendor proposals, services, and agreements. This position will monitor the payroll budget for the department, maintenance parts and repair budget. Must also manage, track, and purchase spare parts for inventory including all supply levels for stock usage such as corrugate, void fill, packing supplies, etc.

JOB DUTIES

  • Maintain all tracking reports of all areas to manage facility maintenance and company assets. Publish reports for costs and damages by area, research cost saving alternatives.

  • Leads the execution of the facilities and maintenance activities of the DC. This includes conveyor systems, rolling equipment, racking/modules, HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, roofing needs, and yard maintenance.

  • Manage purchases, track budgets, and reports on the corrugated boxes, operating supplies, Maintenance supplies and rental equipment. Also, the sale of recyclable goods such as, pallets and scrap corrugated.

  • Monitor progress on jobs and projects. Trouble shoot problems daily and follow thru with solutions.

  • Manage team members by following the core values of the organization.

  • Directly oversee the repairs and maintenance of all areas of the facility, its grounds, and all equipment. Order spare / replacement parts.

  • Contact vendors for quotes and/or technical information. Maintain working relationship with suppliers, vendors, and contractors as necessary.

  • Manage and distribute work orders for daily repairs and manage process for MP2. Manage MP2 to ensure all database information is current and maintained; PM work orders and parts inventory are current and accurate.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct supervision of Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Purchasing team members.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education Minimum: Associate Degree or technical school equivalent.

Experience Minimum: 3-5 years maintenance experience in a leadership role.

Experience Preferred: Experience in all phases of distribution center maintenance. 5+ years of maintenance experience in a leadership role if substituting experience for education.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Fulfillment center environment including:

Ability to walk and stand on concrete floors for an 8-10-hour workday.
