Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a OEM Value Stream Manager. This role is based out of our Jackson, MS facility. Relocation within the United Stated is provided for this opportunity. The Jackson facility has approximately 500 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacturing and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and will oversee all aspects of the OEM Assembly & Test Organization including resource management, training, work scheduling, and process standardization. This individual will oversee three Value Streams: motors, pumps, and motor pumps. The role will drive the implementation of continuous improvement projects to improve key operational metrics and develop a high-performance culture. This individual is leading a team within a Union environment.

In this role you will:

  • This role is responsible for the following key measures: Sales, Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Productivity, First Pass Yield, and 5-S. Additional sub metrics of these key metrics are also included.

  • Kronos/Payroll processing if necessary

  • SIOP/Capacity analysis

  • Facilitate Tier meetings and generate daily reports

  • Maintain cross-training program

  • Conduct audits per schedule (weekly/monthly as assigned)

  • Participate in hourly and salary interviews

  • Improve shop floor assembly and test efficiency and strengthen production processes in the OEM A&T Organization

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the High-Performance Work Teams and to drive Continuous Improvement efforts.

  • Increase employee engagement and accountability to create a high performing culture

  • Improve velocity of material moving through Assembly &Test

  • Responsible for product audits to verify compliance to process plans and other work instructions, which are critical to maintaining ISO 9100 compliance

  • Maintain conformity to ITAR requirements.

  • Lead, manage, and develop salaried and hourly staff.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Operations in a manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a managerial role.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role
