Responsible for assembling metal products partially or completely. Also assembles, builds, solders, tests, and packs metal products to meet specifications. Also performs non-standard complex assembly and testing of OEM products.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Assemble and clean product

  • Solder product to specifications on blue prints if necessary

  • Water test

  • Package product

  • Chart SQC/5S results

  • Participate in problem solving, training and Kaizen activities

  • Keep work area clean and organized

  • Help setup product for the daily run

  • Control production flow

  • Other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Lead

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read a tape measure

  • Must be able to follow instructions.

  • Must be mechanically inclined.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be willing to work overtime when required.

  • Must be able to read basic blue prints.

  • Must be able to work well with others.

  • Must be able to solder product to full penetration.

  • Must be able to set up a torch rig without assistance.

  • Must be aware of what alloy to use on product.

  • Must have good communication skills.

  • Must be able to identify specified parts to build the product.

MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISON:

No Direct reports.

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, push and pull for a 10-hour shift.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

This position will coordinate with the team in relation to upcoming orders and the sub-assemblies that are needed. PURPOSE: Build and assembles custom rainwater units and accessories PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, blots, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering and brazing equipment. * Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals * Understand electrical systems, circuits and plans * Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring * Perform function machine tests on the shop floor. * Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to correct angle * Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and grids * Package product * Chart SQC/5S results * Participate in problem solving, training and Kaizen activities * Keep work area clean and organized * Other related duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent MANAGEMENT: This position has no direct reports. Qualifications * Ability to work independently or with others * Must be able to size and install wiring systems * Must be able to identify specified parts to build the product * Must be able to read blue prints and electrical schematics * Must be able to follow instructions. * Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (wire stripper, voltmeter) * Must understand electrical drawings and blueprints Physical Requirements: * Performing physical activates that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials * Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, push and pull for a 10 hour shift. * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
