Job Description:

Client requires the services of an ODI/JS/MFT Specialist to design, implement, configure and troubleshoot solutions in the business areas of conversion, data transformation, data/file transfer, data migration and job scheduling for client.

The client seeks contract resources to assist with the support of the client Application Development Environment for (client). This resource will install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), SOS JobScheduler(JS) and IBM Managed File Transfer (MFT) Software on multiple platforms and servers in the Development, Test, Staging and Production areas, develop prototypes and proof of concept solutions in these business areas, and serve as an escalation point for assigned area of expertise, field technical support questions and issues and provide solutions (or, if appropriate, coordinate with vendors to resolve issues). Tasks also include performing ODI/MFT/JOS upgrades, develop documentation including install guide, troubleshooting guide,and checklists, and coordinate transfer setup/conversion effort with internal and external parties and stakeholders. This role will also be responsible to provide best practices/guidelines on how to leverage MFT to transfer files, ODI to transform data.

Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience

Experience in Oracle Data Integrator with a deep understanding of all 12c ODI features Required 5 Years
Experience with ODI features like Topology, Knowledge Modules, Metadata, and Load Plans. Required 5 Years
Experience in ODI migration from 11g to 12c. Required 5 Years
Experience setting up physical/logical schemas, configuring J2EE agents as per business requirements. Required 5 Years
Experience with WebLogic based J2EE ODI environment and clustered setup. Required 5 Years
Experience in Change Management, Release Management, and Source Code control practice. Required 5 Years
Experience in IBM MFT, SOS JobScheduler or equivalent in a UNIX platform Highly desired 3 Years
Must have Bachelors degree in computer science, systems engineering or related technical discipline. Required
Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills, customer service, communication and organizational skills are required Required
Red Hat Certified Engineer or Red Hat Certified System Administrator. Highly desired
Ability to work independently with minimal direction providing technical and non-technical support to multiple users. Required

DescriptionPURPOSE * Review, assess and process Lifecycle Safety data and information, across all service lines received from various sources and distribute reports/data onwards to both internal and external third parties following applicable regulations SOP's and internal guidelines. May provide oversight on projects with limited complexities for activities on small to medium service operational projects. RESPONSIBILITIES * Receive, triage, review and process Lifecycle Safety data from various sources on time, within budget and quality standards. Perform data entry for tracking and Lifecycle Safety databases, coding relevant medical terminology, writing descript narratives, generating queries pertinent to the case, performing quality control, assisting with reconciliation, driving case closure, coordinating translations and ensuring reports are sent to the customer within assigned deadlines. Pre-process material for endpoint committee or core laboratory adjudication. Preparation of material for submission of secondary review. * Assess Lifecycle Safety data for report ability to relevant authorities, track reportable cases and report to regulatory authorities, ethics committees, institutional review boards, investigators, oversight groups per legislation, within timelines and in a format compatible to requirement. Liaise with local Quintiles offices to facilitate expedited reporting. Liaise with systems manager for regulatory tracking requirements and electronic reporting. * Contribute to individual deliverables in the field of Safety Publishing, Risk Management, Safety Surveillance and Medical Information or other service lines as appropriate. * Receive and document incoming telephone calls, faxes or emails from investigative sites or other sources reporting Lifecycle Safety data. * Process Lifecycle Safety data according to applicable regulations, guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and project requirements. * Mentoring less experienced or newer staff members.
