Provide leadership, strategic direction, and drive towards attainment of quarterly and annual sales goals for the Americas Pharmaceutical organization. Drive the day to day business results to include:
Management of regional financial plan. Selection and recruiting of Territory Managers.
Direct management/supervision, coaching, training and development of Territory Managers. Management of geographies within the Region ensuring attainment of regional sales goals (ensuring requirements are met for the region - # of sales calls per day, etc). Spending adequate field time with direct reports to mentor, develop, and drive sales results. Managing regional resource allocation.
Maintaining high level of communications with all levels in the organization. Analysis, assessment, and development of regional business plans that include customer identification, prioritization, competitive analysis, success requirements, implementation plans, current and future trends, etc. Providing input to set strategy, objective and implementation requirements and coordinate with regional business plans.
Developing plan for assessing targeted customer needs. Working with Marketing organization to develop product marketing plans and successful implementation on a national basis. Maintaining an in depth knowledge of customer and competition.
Working cross functionally with peers, home office, and field employees to maximize overall sales objectives for B&L products. Continuously improving the knowledge of B&L products, competitive products, and management skills through ongoing home study and participation in company sponsored/approved training programs. Reviewing and auditing of expense reports.
Evaluation of appropriate use of regional resources to ensure attainment of profitability goals. Developing and monitoring performance against regional budgets. Establishing and overseeing regional implementation and monitoring adherence to administrative policies and procedures.
