JOB DESCRIPTION: INFORMATION SERVICES SECRETARY
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school or GED graduate with general clerical training.
Organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience in operating a multiple phone and paging system.
Friendly personality and ability to handle potentially stressful situations.
Ability to deal with various types of people.
Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
Knowledge of technological terminology.
Ability to maintain financial records, order materials and prepare documents for payment of invoices.
Must be able to lift, push or pull 40 pounds and also be able to bend at the waist, kneel and reach above your head.
REPORTS TO: District Infrastructure and Hardware Coordinator
JOB GOAL: To provide assistance and support to the District Technology Coordinator and maintain accurate records for technology within the department and schools.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive all incoming calls and inquiries directed to the District Technology Coordinator and technology staff.
Receive, classify and describe all telephone and database requests for service.
Prepare correspondence for District Technology Coordinator, Network technicians, and Assistant Superintendent for Support Services.
Prepare monthly work order reports for the District Technology Coordinator.
Prepare monthly KETS budget reports for the District Technology Coordinator and School Technology Coordinators.
Prepare monthly Technology budget reports for the District Technology Coordinator and track expenditures to other internal departments.
Prepare KETS or Technology purchase orders for approval, order, and payment
Process parts requests and maintain parts/supply inventories.
Manage shipping and receiving of parts and equipment.
Organize and maintain all departmental files, documents, and supplier lists.
Complete and route time cards and time off sheets for all technical staff.
Assist in the database system for dealing with service requests.
Receive requests for all warranty work; schedule and track progress.
Perform other duties as assigned by the District Technology Coordinator or the Assistant Superintendent for Support Services.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Compensation will be based on 260 contract days on the board-approved 108 salary schedule. This position requires an 8-hour workday.
