Responsible for patient care and related activities, program planning, assigned team and teaching activities relative to recognize knowledge, experience and expertise. Provides team administrative direction in the absence of the Clinical Supervisor.
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
Bachelor's, Certificate or basic level Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
3 years clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting.
Previous experience in teaching occupational therapy treatment principals and application to occupational therapy students and/or staff.

Conducts special projects and assists with research studies related to the team or area of specialty.

Develops professional network with peers in regional/national facilities to facilitate exchange of professional ideas including treatment protocols.

Quality Improvement/Program Evaluation
Participates in peer review, quality improvement and program evaluation.

Manages own time to meet productivity expectations and service demands and assists clinical supervisor with monitoring staaff on team to assure adherence to qualtiy improvement standards and bugetary guidelines.

Represents staff concerns objectively to Clinical Supervisor and works cooperatively toward issue resolution.
